Public Notice - Lac Windfall Mine Project

Posted: 2017-06-22

Lac Windfall Mine Location

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) must decide whether a federal environmental assessment is required for the proposed Lac Windfall Mine Project, located on the Eeyou Istchee-James Bay Territory, 75 km southeast of the Cree village of Waswanipi and 115 km east of Lebel-sur-Quévillon, Quebec.

To help inform this decision, the Agency is seeking comments from the public and Indigenous groups on the project and its potential effects on the environment, as described in the summary of the project description. All comments received will be considered public.
