In accordance with Article 26 of Section 2 of Bill 115, an Act to Amend the Act respecting the Cree Regional Authority, which specifies that the Grand-Chief/Chairperson must be elected by an absolute majority vote (fifty percent + one), and in accordance with the results of the Election of July 29 & 30, 2009, hereto, I hereby declare that Matthew Coon Come having secured 3798 or 63.08% of the valid votes cast on the run-off election is duly elected as Grand Chief/Chairperson of the Grand Council ofthe Crees of Eeyou Istchee and the Cree Regional Authority for a term of Four (4) Years.

In accordance with Article 26 of Section 2, of BHillS, an Act to Amend the Act respecting the Cree Regional Authority, which specifies that the Deputy Grand Chief/Vice-Chairperson must be elected by an absolute majority vote (fifty percent + one), and in accordance with the results of the Election of July 29 & 30,2009, hereto, I hereby declare that Ashley Iserhoff having secured 3186 or 52.87% of the valid votes cast on the run-off election is duly elected as Deputy Grand Chief/ Vice-Chairperson of the Grand CounCil of the Crees of Eeyou Istchee and the Cree Regional Authority for a term of Four (4) Years.
